Edinburgh Touch Superleague

Touch Superleague recognise that squad flexibility is required during a 17 week season to take account of long-term injuries/absences.

This being the case there shall be one transfer window in operation during the 2012 season. This shall be between weeks 9 & 10, during the venue shift from Wardie to the Edinburgh Academy. The purpose of this transfer window is to permit teams to maintain a full squad of 20 should they wish, and not to facilitate player swapping from one team to another within a division. Touch Superleague shall have the right to veto any proposed transfer if they consider it not to be in the spirit of the above.

The rules governing player recruitment/transfer during these windows can be found below.

At no times will a team's squad be permitted to exceed 20 players.

The transfer window will be from 10pm on Monday 25th June through to 10pm on Sunday 8th July.

Players are permitted to change teams and clubs during this period. However, Touch Superleague shall have the right to veto any proposed transfer if they consider it not to be in the spirit of the above

In the above circumstances team captains must confirm the details of:

1. the player who is joining their squad (inc address, email and phone number);
2. details of any player they wish removed from their squad; and
3. if the player is moving teams confirmation of release from their original team by the relevant captain.

N.B. The onus for notifying Touch Superleague is on the team adding a player. E.g. If a player was moving from Club X to Club Y, the onus would be on Club Y to ensure all the correct notifications and confirmations are received by Touch Superleague.
