Edinburgh Touch Superleague

Touch Superleague recognise that squad flexibility is required during a 20 week season to take account of long-term injuries/absences.

This being the case there shall be two transfer windows in operation during the 2010 season. These shall be between weeks 7 & 8 and between weeks 12 & 13. The purpose of these transfer windows is to permit teams to maintain a full squad of 16 should they wish, and not to facilitate player swapping from one team to another within a division. Touch Superleague shall have the right to veto any proposed transfer if they consider it not to be in the spirit of the above.

Please note that at no times will a team's squad be permitted to exceed 16 players.

Teams with 16 Players in Squad

You may add a player to your squad only in the following circumstances:

to replace a player who has withdrawn from your squad due to long term injury
to replace a player who has withdrawn from you squad due to long term unavailability

The replacement player must not be registered to any other team in your division. In the case of the mixed leagues, a replacement player in the mixed intermediate league cannot also be registered with a team in the mixed advanced league and vice versa. A replacement player in the mixed intermediate league cannot have previously been registered in a mixed advanced league.

Teams with less than 16 players in Squad

You may add players to your squad until your squad reaches the maximum level of 16 players.

Transfer Deadline

In the above circumstances team captains must confirm the details of:

the player who has withdrawn from their squad; and
the replacement player

Week 7/8 Transfer Window - Friday 4th June at 5pm
Week 12/13 Transfer Window - Friday 9th July at 5pm
